A Hungry, Undernourished World Out There Still

U.N. report sees no progress against global hunger Rome; ‘Ten years after global leaders first pledged to halve the number of world’s hungry almost no progress has been made’. Some 854 million people world wide are suffering from undernourishment, says U.N. report released on Monday, October, 30, 2006.

Who is responsible for this global hunger?
Are the 854 million hungry born to starve?
Don’t we have enough food to feed the unfed and the underfed?
How to get this problem addressed and solution found?
Are the forums like U.N.O (sorry U.S.O), the parliaments, and the assemblies too big to get the problem of the small man addressed?
When are we going to change our system for better governance?
When would our people allowed to live with a comfortable level of human dignity?

INCIDE BELIEVES IN GIVING MORE LIFE TO MORE PEOPLE BY CHANGING THE PRESENT STRUCTURE OF GOVERNANCE TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD PARLIAMENT SYSTEM. AS THE NEIGHBORHOOD PARLIAMENTS ARE BROUGHT TO THE STREETS PEOPLE AT THE GROSS ROOT ARE ABLE TO REACH THE HOUSES OF GOVERNANCE AND GET THEIR VOICE HEARD.

We welcome your comments.

Thoughts for the better world

We have presented you a new concept for a better world. We request your co-operation for the promotion, communication and execution of the concept.

If our dream of a new world structure comes true,

What evils will not be there in our society?
What good things will be there in our society?
What would be the world like?

We look forward to sharing your thoughts and feelings. Your comments are most welcome.
Your friends and cousins - INCIDE.

The Guiding Principles

1. The Principle of Numerical Uniformity:
Once you have certain number of neighborhood parliaments you can automatically have a village parliament; and once you have a certain number of village parliaments you can have a panchayat parliament and so on. Naturally the constituencies are uniform in size.

2. The Principle of Smallness of Size:
The first eight tiers of the parliaments consist of just 40 members in each. This comfortable size is suitable for discussing the problems of people and finding solutions in time.

3. The Principle of Recall:
You don’t need to wait for five years to call back a candidate whom you “elected” form one level of the parliament to the next. As you are a small community at each level of the parliament, you can call your parliament any time you want and decide together to send someone else who would explain and represent your concerns better.

4. The Principle of Subsidiarity:
Subsidiary units get the focus here. Vitality, dynamism and power are distributed and shared with more concentration at the lower levels. No business that could be handled at a lower level is taken to any level above it. Higher levels deal only with those matters that the lower levels cannot handle.

5. The Principle of Convergence:
This means once you have such a network everything converges at this network. Everything is done through it. This reinforces the structures further and further. Thus whether children’s programs, adolescents programs, self-help groups or what not, everything is referred to neighborhoods and their representative networks.

The Structure of New World Governance

Level – VIII: The Regional Parliaments:
Each national parliament elects a representative to represent it at the Regional parliament. There is one Regional parliament for every 40 National parliaments. It has its cabinet, too, with a Regional chief minister and a team of ministers for services pertaining to Regional Level.

Level – IX: The World Parliament:
The world parliament consists of the representatives elected from all the regional parliaments. Each regional parliament elects a representative to represent it at the world parliament. This parliament has a cabinet, too, with a world chief minister and a team of ministers for services pertaining to world level. [Ends]

The Structure of New World Governance

Level – V: The District Parliaments:
Each block parliament elects a representative to represent it at the district parliament. There is one district parliament for every 40 block parliaments. It has its cabinet, too, with a district chief minister and a team of ministers for services pertaining to district level.

Level – VI: The State Parliaments:
Each District parliament elects a representative to represent it at the state parliament. There is one state parliament for every 40 district parliaments. It has its cabinet, too, with a state chief minister and a team of ministers for services pertaining to state level.

Level – VII: The National Parliaments:
Each state parliament elects a representative to represent it at the National parliament. There is one National parliament for every 40 State parliaments. It has its cabinet, too, with a National chief minister and a team of ministers for services pertaining to National level.

The Structure of New World Governance

Level – III: The Panchayat Parliaments:
Each village parliament elects a representative to represent it at the panchayat parliament. There is one panchayat parliament for every 40 village parliaments. It has its cabinet, too, with a panchayat chief minister and a team of ministers for services pertaining to panchayat level.

Level – IV: The Block Parliaments:
Each panchayat parliament elects a representative to represent it at the block parliament. There is one block parliament for every 40 panchyat parliaments. It has its cabinet, too, with a block chief minister and a team of ministers for services pertaining to block level.

The Structure of New World Governance

Level – I: The neighborhood parliaments:
The whole world gets organized into neighborhood parliaments of about 40 neighboring families. Each neighborhood parliament consists of 40 members representing 40 families, one from each family.

Each neighborhood parliament has a neighborhood cabinet, with a neighborhood chief minister and ministers for various services like education, health, spirituality, hygiene, environment, employment, industry, children’s welfare, family welfare, …

Level – II: The village parliaments:
Each neighborhood parliament elects a representative to represent it at the village parliament. There is one village parliament for every 40 neighborhood parliament. It has its cabinet, too, with a village chief minister and a team of ministers for services pertaining to village level.

Welcome To Our New World

Where everybody feels Life is Good.

God’s World has no borders, no discriminations, no conflicts and no wars. But man’s world has all this. But the majority of people feel life is not good in today’s world. Where does the blame lie for our failure to make the world a place where everybody feels life is good? We think it lies in the structure of governance and we believe a change in the structure of governance a need of the hour.

Come, let’s dream of a new world structure, a structure where everybody feels life is good.

Further entries will be followed by the various levels of "The Structure of New World Governance".
